FUNDRAISING

The Ridgewood High School Band Program relies upon the money raised from fund raising sales for purchases and activities not covered by the school budget. All fund raising activities are organized by the Ridgewood High School Band Parents Association. There are three major fund raising events during the school year - the Performance Journal, the Poinsettia Sale and the Citrus Sale. We are also happy to announce the opening of our online store, where you can purchase custom band apparel or make a tax deductible donation.

Here's a quick anecdote that outlines our fundraising philosophy...

This is the story of four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done, and Everybody was asked to do it.

Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.

Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.

Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job.

Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, and Nobody realized that

Everybody wouldn't do it.

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody, when actually

Nobody should have been blamed by Anybody.
