In the late fall, winter flowers (poinsettia and amaryllis) are offered for sale. The sale begins with the students participating in a door-to-door campaign. On the designated blitz day, each four-student team with one parent driver is assigned specific areas of Ridgewood. The teams canvas all of the houses in their assigned area and take orders for the winter flowers. The sale continues with the processing of phone and mail orders over the following week. On the designated delivery day, students gather to distribute the plants to homes where they were purchased.
