Jo Ann Lamolino - Marching Brass
Jo Ann Lamolino is an active freelance musician in the NY/NJ area. She plays with a wide variety of groups including the Garden State Philharmonic, Riverside Symphonia, Garden State Symphonic Band, the New World Symphony of Miami Beach, FL and the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra of Mexico. In 2006, Jo Ann was the 1st Prize winner of the International Women's Brass Conference Trumpet competition. Other solo experiences include a feature on RAI Italian National Television when she was a Good Will Ambassador to UNICEF by performing as the principal trumpet with their World Youth Orchestra.
Jo Ann received an M.M. in Orchestral Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, where she was a President's Award Scholar. She also holds a B.M. from Boston University. Her teachers include members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, New York Philharmonic and the Boston Symphony.
