Alison Crossley - Flute Ensemble


Alison Crossley, a New Jersey native and Ridgewood High School graduate, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Flute Performance from Carnegie Mellon University and her Master of Arts Degree in Music Performance from New York University.  


Alison is currently performing and teaching in the NY Metropolitan Area.  She plays regularly with One World Symphony, based in Brooklyn, NY, is on faculty with the Encore Music Studio in Ridgewood, NJ, and is the Director of Ridgewood High School's Flute Ensemble and Flute Quartet.


Alison has performed nationally and internationally as an orchestral and chamber musician.  Highlights include appearances at The Tribeca Film FestivalThe National Flute Association and The Greater Boston's Flute Conventions, The International Flute Festival of Chile, and at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha, Qatar.


She has attended programs at The Banff Centre, The Brevard Music Center, and the The Lake Placid Institute.  Her primary teachers include Jeanne Baxtresser, Alberto Almarza, Eugenia Zukerman, and Keith Underwood.
