It performs during all home football games, and at marching band competitions throughout the Tri-state area. Performances include appearances at Piscataway, Hillsborough, Midland Park, Morris Knolls, Washington Township, and a championships show at GIANTS Stadium. The Marching Band also performs for the community throughout the year in parades on the Fourth of July and at our rivalry Thanksgiving-day football game. The RHS Marching band continues to innovate the medium in which it performs and displays the tradition of excellence embodied by all RHS performance ensembles. This year, the RHS Marching Band is proud to present their production of "Romeo and Juliet: Love is Blind". The show is designed around some of the themes and emotions evoked in Shakespeare's play. The music of Prokofiev's ballet "Romeo and Juliet", Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet", and Bernstein's "West Side Story" come together to create tension, love, and resolution. The colors seen throughout the show also help to depict these themes as we move from opposing colors in the opener, to the full rainbow in the ballad. With lots to see and lots to hear, we hope you enjoy "Romeo and Juliet"!
